What is nicotine-free snus?
Traditional snus is tobacco-based and nicotine pouches are tobacco-free but contain nicotine. "Nicotine-free snus" is a casual term for pouches in the same format that contain no nicotine. Most are caffeine pouches, also called energy pouches or functional pouches. The product pages of the items below state that they contain no nicotine.
Caffeine pouches vs nicotine pouches
The active ingredient is caffeine instead of nicotine, and strength is listed in mg of caffeine. Format, flavours and the 18+ age limit are similar. If you want nicotine products instead, see our nicotine pouches.

Who are they for, and how to choose

Compare caffeine amount (brands use mg or mg/g, so check the can), flavour (menthol, fruit or energy drink) and price. Start with one pouch at a time. Follow the instructions on the product, do not combine many caffeine sources, and ask a professional if unsure. We give no health advice.
